December 3, 2015 (Winston-Salem, NC) – EMS Management and Consultants (EMS|MC), a third-party EMS and ambulance billing company, announced Thursday that Regina Godette-Crawford will join the company as an Advocacy Liaison in mid-January, 2016. Regina recently retired from her position of Chief of Administration from the NC Office of EMS. Having worked for the Office of EMS for over 22 years, she held positions of Regional Specialist, which included inspections, regional exams and technical assistance to EMS providers; Coordinator for Bioterrorism, through a federally-funded position after 9/11, and Assistant Chief. Regina served as an advocate for EMS providers in the General Assembly to include grant funding for community paramedicine programs and other important legislative issues affecting EMS.
In her position with EMS|MC, Regina will have a direct focus on maintaining these important relationships to continue to serve as a strong advocate for EMS agencies across the nation.

Regina holds a bachelor of science from East Carolina University as well as public administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She was recognized as the Tar Heel of the Week by the Raleigh, NC News and Observer, was awarded the Pinnacle Award for Emerging EMS Leaders by Fitch and Associates, and was the recipient of The Order of the Long Leaf Pine Society Award in November 2015.
