Virginia’s Loudoun County Partners with EMS/MC to Improve

Municipal Financial Performance

 

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – July 22, 2014 – EMS Management and Consultants (EMS/MC), the nation’s largest emergency billing specialist, announced today that it has been awarded a new contract by Virginia’s Loudoun County for third-party billing of emergency medical transport services.

The contract, which will begin within the next 60 days, represents the first revenue recovery program for the historic 257-year-old Old Dominion community. The contract includes comprehensive EMS billing for transport services performed by Loudoun County Fire, Rescue and Emergency Management.

Loudoun County selected EMS/MC after a procurement process that sought to maximize community satisfaction and taxpayer resources, while implementing a comprehensive, customized solution that incorporates the needs of all local community members in their efforts.
